At the first introduction it is necessary to say that on this band serve elements of the best Svedish band. To mention some name: Dodsdomd, Human waste and Totalt Javla Morker. With this backgrounds the result can be only good. In this 7 inches there aren't rocking influences typical of Human Waste and melodic that can take to the memory the Total Java Morker. There are only 8 tracks of pure and primordial raw punk/d-beat, without contamination , without melody, without “correct” or studied sound. It is possible to find only a lot of sweat, attitude, coldness and anger. The beat rhythm are sustained by 2 voices, one deep and another shriek and wrenching. All this is enrich by simple but incisive bass-guitar's riffs, stop'n'go and some remote and melancholic guitar's melody.A good job on his simplicity , uncouthness, and anger advised to lover of pure and hard d-beat and at who love to surf on this could ryhtms.

In una prima presentazione và detto che in questo gruppo militano componenti dei migliori gruppi svedesi attualmente sulla piazza, giusto per citare qualche nome Dodsdomd, Human waste e Totalt Javla Morker. E con certe basi il risultato non può che essere più che buono. In questo 7 pollici non cè nessun influenza rockeggiante tipica degli Human Waste e nessuna apertura melodica che potrebbe ricordare i Totalt Javla Morker. Solo otto tracce di puro raw punk/d-beat di quello primordiale, senza contaminazioni, senza melodia, senza suoni precisini o ricercati. Ma tanto tanto sudore e attitudine, freddezza e rabbia. Le ritmiche cadenzate sono sostenute dall’alternanza delle due voci, una profondissima e l’altra acuta e lancinante, arricchite da semplici ma efficaci giri di basso e stop’n’go, e ogni tanto si sente anche una lontanissima chitarra che diffonde una malinconica melodia.
Un buon lavoro nella sua semplicità, grezzezza e rabbia, consigliato agli amanti del d-beat duro e puro e a coloro che amano farsi trasportare da queste fredde ritmiche.

Split made of two 7 inch for this swedish boys. Listening the Totalt Javla Morker lp it is possible to appreciate the wonderful registration and the listner will be projected in the cold atmosphere of the intro and in the coldest sound of this band. This is certainly a crust band that paly in a modern way with a lot of metalcore influences (expecially in the alternance of the voices and on the rare chorus). To appreciate of this band are the technical capacity.
It is impossible to be bored with this 4 song because their d-beat is ever at the top and never flat. This because of the more change of time. Also the melody, although if it is glacial, is accompanied by the guitars that offer to the listner some very good guitar solo. The lirycs, in Swedish and translated in English, talk about religion,war, media distorsion and actuality.
Also the Human waste 7 inches is recorded perfectly but the sound is more characteristic than the Totalt Javla Morker. This band is born as a d-beat band and was often compared wuth Skitsystem. This is the reason why now they found their sound explained as “d-beat rock’n’roll” as well it is not possible to find the influences of Discharge. A lot of influences come from nordic rock'n' roll, inspired from Motorhed similar to “Misanthropic generation” of countryman Disfear. All is mixed by guitar solos, alcoolic speed and voices that scream about personal topics.
Both the band have a good personality are able to don't bore in both 7 inches. A lp to moove the mind for 20 minutes in their cold land.

Split formato da 2 sette pollici per questi ragazzi svedesi. Inserendo il disco dei Totalt Javla Morker subito si apprezza la splendida registrazione e si viene proiettati da un freddissimo intro nell’ ancora più freddo suono del gruppo…siamo davanti sicuramente a un gruppo crust, ma che suona in maniera moderna, che influenza il tutto con una buona dose di metalcore (soprattutto nelle alternanze vocali e nei rari cori), e che ha una tecnica notevolissima.
Impossibile stancarsi con i quattro pezzi presenti, perché il loro d-beat è sempre sparato, ma mai monotono per la presenza di infiniti stacchi e cambi di tema…anche la melodia, per quanto glaciale, viene ben orchestrata dalle chitarre, e non manca neanche qualche assolone. Le liriche, anche se in lingua madre, vengono spiegate in inglese, e parlano di religione, guerra, distorsione massmediatica e attualità.
Per quanto riguarda gli Human Waste anche qui la registrazione è impeccabile, ma il loro suono è più particolare…dopo essere partiti anni fa come puro gruppo d-beat, venivano spesso paragonati agli Skitsystem infati, ora hanno trovato il loro suono nel (come si definiscono loro) “d-beat rock’n’roll”. Anche se del tempo Discharge io non ci vedo neanche l’ombra, sicuramente le canzoni sono molto rock’n’roll, di quello nordico, ispirato dai motorhead e simile al ‘Misanthropic Generation’ dei compaesani Disfear, anche se qui il tutto molto più condito di assoloni, alcoliche velocità e voce che urla argomenti perlopiù personali.
Entrambi i gruppi hanno una buona personalità e riescono a non stancare mai in nessuno dei pezzi dei sette pollici. Un disco da avere per passare con la mente una bella ventina di minuti al fresco delle loro terre.

ana barata vs speedergarben - [2007] - split

It is time for a split between a Swedes (the Ana Barata) and a Norwegian band (Speedergarben).
The first, all really young, propose five pieces of dirt, fast and primordial d-beat. With alternation of 3 voices , the guitar that play like a mosquito's swarm and simply rhythm change (often between Dis's rhythm and Hardcore rhythm ) they let us know that they want to scream all that they have to say. It is possible to compare the sound to Totalitar, mainly for the cride, primordial scandinavian-core.
The Norwegian are quite more caotic than the Swedes principally for drum's sound and voice.
This in some songs are recorded at low volume making an 80's atmosphere. Also this band have really desperate voices and nice dirt giutar's riff. What distinguish this band are some Rock moment expecialy on the solos of the only guitar.
So a split that can be appreciated from the lover of the dirty eighties sound and first D-Beat. Fot the others it is a split between two similar band that play similar songs with no more originality bat with a lot of wishes to scream and a lot of attitude.

Stavolta tocca uno split tra un gruppo svedese, gli Ana Barata e i norvegesi Speedergarben.
I primi, tutti molto giovani, ci propongono cinque pezzi di d-beat primordiale, molto sporchi e veloci, con triplice alternanza di voce, semplici cambi di ritmo (spesso tra tempi Dis e tempi hardcore), chitarra zanzarosa e si sente ancora tanta tanta voglia giovane e selvaggia di urlare ciò che si ha da dire. Come suono li paragonerei ai Totalitar, soprattutto per le voci sgraziate e lancinanti e per la grezzezza del loro scandi-core primordiale.
I norvegesi riescono ad essere addirittura più caotici, soprattutto nel suono della batteria e nella voce che in alcuni pezzi è molto bassa creando un’ ambientazione di pura registrazione anni ’80. Anche loro disperatissimi nelle voci, bei giri di chitarra sporchissima e qualche azzeccato cambio di ritmo…la cosa che li contraddistingue è ogni tanto qualche momento più rockeggiante, soprattutto negli assoli dell’unica chitarra.
Insomma un disco che può piacere moltissimo agli appassionati del suono sporco tipicamente eighties e del primo d-beat. Per tutti gli altri in fin dei conti è uno split tra gruppi simili che fanno canzoni simili tra di loro, quindi poca originalità, ma tanta voglia di urlare e tanta attitudine.

the godfathers of the swedish d-beat. i have a thrill listening the beginning of the first track, under the sun, with his cold and melancholic arpeggio. there is nothing to say. an endless album that bewitch since the beginning to the end, every song has an overshadowing behaviour, full of cold swedish atmosphere came with the hipnotic d-beat rithm. the far and desperate voice complete the sound. i think the best work ever made in d-beat sound.
